Natuur dichtbij huis

Deze week gingen Tom en Huib van Eigen Huis en Tuin aan de slag voor Heleen en Stefan in Bloemendaal. De tuin was nodig toe aan een metamorfose, iets wat past bij het karakteristieke huis en wat de natuur dichtbij huis brengt. In de tuin is heel veel groen en veel kleur door de bloemen om de natuur nog dichterbij te halen. Daar komen natuurlijk vlinders op af, en je krijgt vogeltjes in de tuin.

Strandgevoel

In de tuin is gebruik gemaakt van twee soorten tegels, namelijk hele grote tegels en juist vele kleinere stenen. Voor de grote tuintegels is er gekozen voor GeoCeramica® Brooklyn Gris in formaat 100 x 100. De tegels zijn speels doordat er niet alleen een lichtgrijze kleur is maar de tegels ook een bruintint hebben, wat zorgt voor het strandgevoel. De bruintint creëert ook een warm gevoel. Daarnaast is er gebruik gemaakt van vele kleinere stenen. De kleine stenen zijn Rustic Belgian Blue. Deze siertegels zijn aan de bovenkant ruw en aan de onderkant maatvast. Dat ziet er strak uit en daardoor kan het ook gemakkelijk worden aangelegd.

En als je zo dicht bij de kust en de duinen woont, en ook nog eens drie jongere kinderen hebt dan mag de buitendouche niet ontbreken. Na het surfen op het strand kan iedereen zich direct schoonspoelen onder de buitendouche.

Overkapping met lichtkoepel

Het is heerlijk om een overkapping in je tuin te hebben want het zorgt voor een verlenging van de woonkamer. Je kan het anders inrichten en het ziet er knus uit. Je kan er ook ‘s avonds nog lekker blijven genieten want het houdt warmte vast. De zijkanten zijn open gehouden zodat het ruimtelijk blijft. In het dak zitten gaten voor een lichtkoepel, dat ervoor zorgt dat het overdag niet te donker wordt en het zonlicht alsnog naar binnen kan.

In-lite tuinverlichting

Als kers op de taart is er ook gebruik gemaakt met tuinverlichting van in-lite ready. Vanwege de hoogteverschillen van de planten is er ook bewust voor gekozen om verschillende hoogtes verlichting te gebruiken. In-lite maakt buiten bijzonder. Door de toonaangevende LED laagspanningsverlichting in de tuin, kan je er ook ’s avonds nog optimaal van genieten!
