Brick slips gain popularity
Facade renovation requires other materials than new construction. Due to the slim nature of brick slips, a facade can be renovated with minimum space loss. This makes it possible, for example, to finish existing windows with brick slips. The slips are applied directly to the facade or isolation boards.
Ideal for facade renovation
With a facade renovation with brick slips, the authentic character of a home is retained. The exterior gets a new and modern look. Combined with facade insulation, slips also ensure a perfect insulation shell around the home. This method of insulation is interesting if the insulation value is not sufficient or is in poor condition. (MBI is an independent supplier and our facade strips are already applied to various types / brands of facade insulation.)
Wall cladding with GeoStylistix or Rox
Slips of diverse facing bricks
Almost all our facing bricks are available as wall cladding, amongst which GeoStylistix, S-Design and Rox. Despite the thinness, the wall cladding has the same positive characteristics as the ‘original’ facing bricks. In terms of appearance, the cladding is equal to the facing bricks.
- GeoStylistix are long format facing bricks with a top layer of high-quality natural materials with a very refined structure. With a large selection of colour nuances, this is the most stylish wall cladding at the moment. As of 2021 GeoStylistix is also available in a more classic brick size (210x100x52 mm).
- Or take the robust, cut facing brick Rox. Its whimsical character comes out well, also in the form of wall cladding.
Solution for beautifully finished corners
A disadvantage of brick slips is often the composite angle, aesthetically speaking it is not the nicest solution. MBI has the solution for this. We offer a corner solution so it appears that a facing brick has been applied instead of a brick slip.
