What about a noticeable, easier to clean tile? Protection Plus from MBI De Steenmeesters is a true innovation. All our decorative paving with the protection factor 25 of 30 is easier to clean. The best protection for your patio tiles!

Factor 15 - Basic protection

All our decorative paving of 4, 5 or 6 cm thickness, with the exception of the tumbled stones is provided with at least protection factor 15. Protection Plus factor 15 offers protection from the inside. This is not a factor that is applied, but it is part of the recipe. It is one of the separate elements that partly determines the quality of our tiles. This gives your terrace basic protection and has better properties than paving without protection.

Factor 25 - Maximum protection

In addition to the Protection Plus factor 15 of our BasicSteen collection, MBI has also provided terrace tiles with factor 25, namely our GeoSteen® collection. With this factor a transparent double protective layer is applied over the top layer, so that the pores of the top layer are practically closed of. This happens immediately after production, which makes it difficult for dirt and algea to settle. The protective film is invisible to the human eye.

Factor 30 - Maximum protection with satin sheen

This factor also has the double protective layer, but this layer is applied after 24 hours. The result is that the tile is even better compacted, the colour is even better reflected and above all the tiles also get a nice shine from it! All our decorative paving with this protection factor are easier to clean. An additional advantage is that the light satin sheen gives the terrace a particularly attractive and chic appearance.
