MBI B.V. respects the privacy of all users of its website. With this privacy statement MBI B.V. shows how she handles personal data that comes in via the website. MBI B.V. maintains data about the use of the website and the responses that are received via the website. This makes it possible to further develop and improve the website. MBI B.V. does not sell personal data to third parties and only makes them available to third parties with the consent of the person(s) concerned, if this is necessary to meet the request or request of the person(s) concerned.

Personal data

MBI B.V. treats personal information confidentially and carefully. MBI B.V. adheres to the applicable laws and regulations regarding the protection of personal data. MBI B.V. limits the processing of personal data to the data that are necessary for good business practice. With entering into an agreement with MBI B.V. the data subject agrees to the processing of the personal data necessary for the implementation of the agreement. MBI B.V. processes orders for smooth processing through the following personal data: name, telephone number, e-mail address and/or home address.

Processing purposes

MBI B.V. ensures that personal data are processed in accordance with the law and in a proper and careful manner. The personal data that customers and (potential) customers or candidates for vacancies or internships within the company via the website to MBI B.V. with the aim of:

a. be able to answer the information or customer question quickly;
b. handle a complaint in time;
c. enable customers/buyers to place order via the website;
d. to be able to check this data for completeness and accuracy;
e. allow customers to acces the web portal;
g. periodically prove company or product information to customers/buyers;
h. send newsletters or flyers;
i. to enable candidates/potential trainees to express the interest via the website to respond promptly to this;
j. collect statistical information about the visit to the website.

If the details of customers/buyers are provided by MBI B.V. are used for marketing purposes – digital or otherwise – and this use is experienced as undesirable, customers/buyers can request that the data is no longer used for this purpose, by sending a message to marketing@mbi.nl.

Retention period

MBI B.V. stores personal data no longer than is necessary for the (purposes of the) processing and records the retention periods and the criteria for applying these terms. At the end of the retention periods, as indicated below, MBI B.V. removes the personnel data from the relevant data files. MBI B.V. makes this data irreducible to the person concerned, illegible or proceeds to destruction. Data that must be retained for a longer period in order to comply with a legal obligation to retain data will only be removed from the files after this longer term has expired. MBI B.V. enter into a processing agreement with organisations that process data from clients or customers on its behalf.

Security

MBI B.V. treats the agreements with clients and/or customers and the application details provided via the contact form as strictly confidential. Contract and personal data are only processed by persons who are required to maintain confidentiality because of their position. MBI B.V. has taken appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect personal data, both physically and digitally. These measures are aimed at combating abuse, loss, unauthorised access and other undesirable actions with personal data. MBI B.V. secures its IT systems and programs to prevent unauthorised persons from gaining access to personal data within or outside the organisation.

Rights of date subjects

Clients, customers and other visitors to the website have the right to take cognisance of their own personal data, which is provided and processed by MBI B.V. They can request this by sending us an e-mail. When processing this request, identification will be requested on the basis of identification. In addition, clients, customers and other visitors to the website can at any time send a request to marketing@mbi.nl to supplement, correct, delete or protect personal data.

A request for destruction or modification of the data is granted if:

  • The data is factually incorrect;
  • The data for the purpose of data processing are incomplete;
  • The information is not relevant;
  • The data conflicts with a legal regulation.

When a request for destruction is granted, MBI B.V. destroys the data within three months of this request, unless it is reasonably plausible that the storage is important for someone other than the person concerned and to the extent that storage is required on the basis of a legal provision.

Cookies

MBI B.V. improves the technical functioning and ease of use of its website through technical and functional cookies. A cookie is a small (text) file that is sent along with pages of the website and is stored by the browser on the hard drive of the website user’s computer.
