Our logo's

MBI is a Dutch family business which was founded in 1945 by businessman Anton van der Meijden. In the past 75 years, MBI has grown and expanded its portfolio of products and brands. An example is GeoCeramica® which has gained ground internationally. Regardless of an extensive product range within 3 business units and international brands, MBI remains an authentic Dutch family business at heart. On this page we explain some of our (Dutch) logo’s/concepts which recur on the website.

MBI 'De Steenmeesters'

While internationally we are known as ‘MBI Aesthetic Outdoor Solutions’, in the Netherlands we go by ‘MBI De Steenmeesters’. ‘De Steenmeesters’ translates literally to ‘The Stone Masters’, which we proudly call ourselves. After 75 years of experience in the concrete industry, our employees today work with the same passion and inventive spirit as those before them did in the founding days. Our Stone Masters are committed to making our outdoor living environment better; in quality, durability, colour and shape. A total of 390 Stone Masters work daily on high-quality products at our 4 production locations in the Netherlands and sales and storage offices in Belgium and Germany.

Your partner in shaping the private and public space.

MBI is a manufacturer of high-quality paving and facade solutions for public and private applications. We offer a wide range of concrete pavers, decorative paving and facing bricks. Although we operate within 3 separate business units, we do not think in business units, we think in solutions. Product development is based on the idea that our (public) space contributes to broader societal goals such as comfort, safety, sustainability and health. Our playing field is aimed at all usage areas of the outdoors; living, roads, shopping, working and well-being. These usage areas translate in Dutch to Wonen (living), Wegen (roads), Winkelen (shopping), Werken (work) and Welzijn (well-being), which makes up our 5W concept. These usage areas are indicated on our inspiration/project pages, which allows you to also look for inspiration based on usage area.
