Camping & Beach Resort Julianahoeve

For generations, Julianahoeve has been the campsite where holidaymakers come to stay right on the beach in Renesse. The family-run business is constantly making improvements and that included redesigning the outdoor area. For generations, the Julianahoeve campsite has been the campsite where holidaymakers come to stay right on the beach in Renesse. With more than 1,000 annual pitches, 55 rental accommodations and nearly 300 camping spaces across 40 hectares of land, it is the abode of some 6,000 holidaymakers in summer alone. The Troost family bought the campsite on Renesse beach in 1999. Over the years, the Julianahoeve has grown into the popular place to stay today. Its success is due to the high level of quality and the many facilities the family business offers for young and old.

Redesigning outdoor area

The Troost family is continuously improving the campsite. Sandy Troost: ‘In 2020, the catering facilities were renovated, and the canopy of the central square also had a major transformation. The canopy is now a rock-solid structure that withstands coastal weather and wind well.’ It was then decided to renew the entire square. A more modern and atmospheric look to bring it all together. In consultation with the family, Braber Groenvoorziening drew up a design. ‘We wanted to create a cosy look for the heart of the campsite, which can be used for parties, games, performances, etc.’

Low-maintenance terrace

Julianahoeve's outdoor terrace was tailored to the new look of the properties and, above all, had to be low-maintenance: ‘The look and atmosphere had to match the premises. Moreover, we wanted something that doesn't get dirty easily and retains its appearance for a long time.’ On the terraces, modern GeoCeramica® tiles were incorporated with AquaColor Ceramic Joints grout, so that maintenance would be minimal. This way, the family does not have to worry about subsidence, weeds and stains on the hospitality terraces. The square is further processed with GeoRetron stones in a warm, attractive colour mix. These stones are also colourfast and dirt-resistant, ensuring that the square retains its appearance for years to come.
