An MBI stone brings together function, aesthetics and durability. You enjoy years of natural colouring, guaranteed by our proven GeoSteen® concept. In this regard, the best choice for a classic streetscape is the GeoRetron series.
The top layer of GeoRetron consists of colourfast natural material of a very fine gradation. The top layer has a closed surface and a velvety appearance. The top layer is optimally protected with our Premium Protection treatment. This protects the stone from penetrating dirt and keeps the streetscape looking nice for longer. The colours are warm and earthy. Look for all colours in the brochure. GeoRetron is available in two designs: Excellent and Prestige. Both variants are available in six sizes.

The top layer of GeoRetron Excellent is composed of approx. 80% colourfast natural material (fraction 1-3 mm) combined with an optimal mix of natural raw materials. The top layer is enriched with high-quality and durable colour oxides and additionally protected by our Premium Protection treatment. The result is a beautiful closed top layer with a classic colour and look.
GeoRetron Prestige
The top layer of GeoRetron Prestige is composed of 100% colourfast natural material of a very fine fraction (0-2mm). The top layer has a very closed surface and an almost velvety appearance. The available colours are warm and earthy. By playing with size, colour and texture, paving plays an important role in our well-being.
A sustainable choice
Based on transparent figures (the MKI value), we dare to say that GeoRetron is not only aesthetically pleasing and economically advantageous, but also a sustainable choice. By improving processes and using less cement, the stone is already highly sustainable at its base.
We therefore also use the MKI value as a starting point; only this value honestly indicates the burden on the environment. We look for the best solution, for now and in the future.
Producing entirely cement-free is very difficult. An activator is always needed to harden concrete. Especially the top layer, which has to endure a lot. Although there are developments in this area, it does not mean that when the statement ‘cementless’ is made, the brick will necessarily have a lower MKI value than a paving brick with cement. With the addition of a minimal amount of cement, we are currently able to achieve the lowest MKI value with GeoRetron. We call this recipe Duraton®.

It is with great enthusiasm that we introduce a beautiful new product group for exclusive projects: GeoRetron Privato. Facetless stones with a high-quality, natural GeoSteen® top layer that is 100% colourfast. This 6cm thick version is available from stock for exclusive projects.
Due to the reduced thickness, the stones are less environmentally harmful;
- Fewer raw materials needed to produce the bricks;
- Less transport (costs);
- Lower MKI.
With their modern nostalgic look, these stones are perfect for a classic or romantic look. GeoRetron Privato is dimensionally stable, strong and features a spacer to create an attractive narrow joint. Its standard height of 6cm makes it the ideal stone for footpaths/sidewalks or an attractive square. Available in 6 timeless colours and 2 different sizes (20x5x6 and 21x7x6), available from stock.
