From outside to inside

The beautiful GeoStylistix facing brick has been used both inside and outside the villa in Vlijmen. Solid bricks have been used for the façade, while brick slips in the same colour have been used inside. This creates the illusion that the brickwork continues inside. Using the modern, long-format facing brick in this way gives the house an all-round modern and industrial character.

Long-format GeoStylistix facing brick

The extra-long, slim and extremely stylish GeoStylistix facing brick offers design freedom. Its atypical dimensions allow for the creation of a unique interplay of lines. A controlled production process using colourfast natural stone granules results in a unique brick that retains its beauty for a long time. In Vlijmen, Dover White was chosen in combination with an accent wall in Shaded Grey at the entrance. The colours within the series can be beautifully combined with each other, but also with various building materials.

Stone strips for space saving

Inside, the stone strip variant of GeoStylistix in the colour Dover White was used. These can be applied directly to the (interior) wall and, because they are thin, there is minimal loss of space. The stone strips are not only suitable for indoor use, but also for outdoor applications.

Processing

Both solid bricks and brick slips require the correct expansion joint. This is to prevent cracking in the brickwork when the weather changes. The expansion joint also depends on the substrate. Brick slips can be applied directly to the façade or insulation boards. For correct processing, request expansion joint advice and follow the instructions on the packaging.
