Required Information – READ CAREFULLY!

In order to make an expansion advice, we would like to receive the drawings in PDF. All facades, floor plans, cross-sections and all masonry details must be available in the PDF. In addition, all mandatory fields must be filled in; we cannot process incomplete information into an expansion advice! Only submit an expansion advice request when the design is final. It is also very important that the type and color of stone are determined. Does this concern masonry with solid stones or a stone strip system? If stone strips are used without a system, we cannot issue an expansion advice. Incorrect information and changes to the original request may entail costs*.

In principle, no expansion joints need to be applied to Solid Bloxx masonry. If Solid Bloxx masonry is plastered or tiled, expansion advice may be necessary. In that case, consultation with MBI is advisable.

Standard lead time
The advice is developed by an agency selected by MBI. The lead time for expansion advice is currently 4 working weeks**. Expansion advice with a standard lead time is free of charge***.

* If you make changes to the submitted construction plan after receiving the expansion advice, the resulting costs will be at your own expense.
** Depending on the market pressure. This period may be subject to change during extreme pressure. We do not guarantee this lead time. Make sure you submit your request to us on time. Of course, you can also have expansion advice provided in-house and at your own expense.
*** In the case of expansion advice provided free of charge by MBI, it is not permitted to charge the client a fee.
