New commissioner joins the Supervisory Board of MBI Group in North Brabant
Herman Molenaar joins as a new commissioner on the Supervisory Board of MBI Group B.V. in Veghel. As of May 31, Herman is a member of the Supervisory Board of MBI, alongside chairman Irving van Nes and the other supervisory board members, who are also shareholders, Lex and Robert van der Meijden.
Molenaar served as CFO of Vanderlande Industries in Veghel for 15 years. He resides in Veghel and is deeply involved with the region and local entrepreneurs. He also has a strong affinity with family businesses, particularly in the North East Brabant region. He is an advisor and a member of the supervisory boards of companies such as De Groot bewerkingsmachines, Van Berlo, De Chocoladefabriek, Van Loon vleesgroep, and Vado family office. Additionally, he is the chairman of Platform Ondernemers Meierijstad (POM) and has extensive knowledge and interest in sustainability. He is a valuable addition to MBI Group B.V.

Concrete Factory in Veghel Retires After 56 Years
On Thursday, July 25th, the factory in Veghel officially retired. The land was purchased in 1966, and a year later, in 1967, the first pile was driven by Robert and Lex van der Meijden. The concrete factory produced its first paving stones in 1968. Now, 56 years and approximately 147 million m² of stones later, the old factory is retiring.

A celebration took place today at the impressive site of 'L'Ortye' in Hoensbroek. This MBI Ambassador has sold the 6,000,000th square meter of GeoCeramica® decorative paving.

GeoCeramica® Center Balkbrug
The sixth official GeoCeramica® center in the Netherlands was opened in Balkbrug. The opening at 'Buiter Beton Balkbrug' took place on Friday, July 15. This is a beautiful example of the new formula from the producer of the materials in question: MBI De Steenmeesters. With the experience gained during the covid pandemic, they emphasize the importance of spacious, large outdoor display gardens.
