A Sustainable Garden in One Day
On Friday, July 19th, the first garden flip took place at Frion in Zwolle. MBI De Steenmeesters started the garden flipping initiative in June, in collaboration with Lodewijk Hoekstra, the famous TV gardener.

Concrete Factory in Veghel Retires After 56 Years
On Thursday, July 25th, the factory in Veghel officially retired. The land was purchased in 1966, and a year later, in 1967, the first pile was driven by Robert and Lex van der Meijden. The concrete factory produced its first paving stones in 1968. Now, 56 years and approximately 147 million m² of stones later, the old factory is retiring.

Port Entrepreneur of the Year 2023
MBI De Steenmeesters, with a location in the Haatlandhaven in Kampen, was named 'Port Entrepreneur of the Year' on Tuesday evening, March 26. They follow Xella Nederland in this honor. The announcement of the 'Port Entrepreneur of the Year' took place during the annual Port Dinner.
