This is because the ceramic top layer is harder than the concrete base layer, meaning that a standard concrete blade is unsuitable. The coarse segments of a concrete blade can remove too much material from the ceramic, resulting in an imprecise cut.

Use the MBI TileMaster Ceramics

For precise cutting of GeoCeramica® tiles, use the MBI TileMaster Ceramics blade. These blades are suitable for use with both tile saws and table saws, and are compatible with various arbor sizes. To achieve a clean cut, it is essential to always use a water-cooled table saw. The best option is a table saw with an overhead guide, which ensures the most accurate cuts. Place the tile on the table with the ceramic side facing up, and guide the blade through gently. Let the saw do the work!
