For shopping center Meenterf, a GeoCeramica® tile with a natural stone look was chosen. This tile, with a modern design, gives every (outdoor) space a luxurious appearance. Two different colors have been used to create a clear walking path. In combination with the white walls and black frames of the stores, a calm and modern whole has been achieved.

Large-Format Tiles for (Semi-)Public Spaces

Large-format tiles are incredibly popular in (semi-)public spaces. Shopping centers, squares, and outdoor café terraces are increasingly being outfitted with large-format tiles. GeoCeramica® is an excellent choice due to its many advantages and possibilities. This is due to the combination of a concrete base and a ceramic top layer. The design possibilities with ceramic are vast. Moreover, ceramic is scratch-resistant, wear-resistant, colorfast, stain-resistant, and acid-resistant. The unique GeoCeramica® concept is suitable for various application areas, depending on thickness. The tiles start at a thickness of 4 cm, which is suitable for pedestrian traffic. A category above is the 2Drive version with a thickness of 6 cm. This is also suitable for light vehicular traffic, making it perfect for shopping centers where goods are transported with electric pallet trucks. Then there is the Heavy Duty variant with a thickness of 8 cm. Specifically developed for public spaces, the Heavy Duty version has an extra slip-resistant surface (R12) to prevent slipping and a higher load-bearing capacity. Available on request in all designs.
