Traditionally, cobblestones were used to pave major roads. Laying these individual stones was a very time-consuming, labour-intensive process. It is now possible to produce cobblestones in pre-laid patterns, making them easy to install. These climate-adaptive stones are a popular choice for driveways and farmyards.

The cobblestones chosen are in the colour Lazise, a light, warm and neutral shade. This colour emphasises the black elements in the outdoor space and the surrounding greenery. Furthermore, Lazise complements the colour of the façade well, creating a calm and enchanting overall effect. Cobblestones are available in five warm, natural shades: from the light Lazise and Elba, the beige-brown Cannobio, to the rustic Mystic Mountain and the dark Milano. Each colour adds its own charm.

Dark joints provide extra contrast and depth to the paving, accentuate the laying pattern and make dirt less noticeable. As mentioned earlier, the open joints support water infiltration, contributing to a climate-adaptive driveway. Thus, the joints are not only aesthetic but also functional.
