Grass paving stones and tiles

Grass concrete tiles and grass clinkers have openings/ recesses in the stone. A green street image is achievable with these bricks even in areas with heavy traffic. These types of grass bricks are often used in parking areas and driveways. In addition, grass concrete tiles and stones often serve as roadside paving.

Playing with open paving patterns

A grass boulder has a special shape. It can be processed into closed paving, 20% or 40% open paving. An example is the Capital L+T bricks where the laying patterns determine the open space of the paving. This way, you can endlessly vary the open space through the L and T bricks, whether or not in combination with each other.

Maintenance

One point to note is that open paving requires slightly more maintenance compared to traditional paving. Stones where the open spaces are filled with gravel or grit require virtually no maintenance. Open paving with grass growth may require a little more maintenance. To encourage beautiful grass growth, we recommend filling open paving with substrate and then sweeping out the gutters again. This prevents the young, emerging grass from being immediately flooded or flattened. You can sow the open space with a grass mixture of your own choice. The paved surface is passable for walking and driving traffic immediately after filling with substrate.
