An ‘Out of Africa’ feel in an African garden

The climate in Africa is hot, sweltering and sultry. The vast landscapes are partly green, partly rugged natural stone and partly arid savannah. How can you recreate this ‘Out of Africa’ feel in the Netherlands? By choosing tiles whose extensive colour spectrum evokes all these sensations at once!

Fiery natural stone

The African continent tells its own story. It boasts abundant natural beauty, but also the hardships of its climate. All of this is captured in the design of Ardesie African Stone. The colourful shades aren’t for everyone. But with these, you’ll certainly make a statement. You can create an African-inspired garden without too many additions. With accessories and matching garden furnishings, you can complete the natural look.

Design by Mirage

The ceramic top layer for this range of decorative paving has been designed by the designers at Mirage, the leading Italian brand for outdoor ceramics. Mirage’s designs are characterised by highly realistic prints, and the ceramics are of exceptionally high quality.

Ardesie Collection

As well as African Stone, the Ardesie range also features other designs inspired by rich natural stone. Are you looking for a darker African feel? Then take a look at this inspirational garden featuring GeoCeramica® Ardesie Black Reef. With this, you can create a completely different African garden. After all, this continent cannot be captured in just one design!

These ceramic tiles, inspired by African designs, are available in two different thicknesses: 2 cm full-body ceramic and 4 cm GeoCeramica®. In this blog, you can read more about the most suitable tile thickness for your project.
