A unique façade

Bartok Arnhem is characterised by its striking building volume with large folded roof terraces and a differentiated façade. The extra-long GeoStylistix facing brick in the colour Shaded Grey Light was chosen for the façade. By folding the top two layers inwards, the building volume is visually broken up, so that Bartok Arnhem does not look like a solid block, but rather like an elegant and modern building that fits seamlessly into its surroundings.

A dynamic whole

The sleek facing brick design by GeoStylistix gives the façade of Bartok Arnhem a calm appearance, despite the many windows. Minimal changes in the placement of the windows per floor create a dynamic and interesting façade. The design by Barcode Architects provides a unique identity and has made Bartok Arnhem a real eye-catcher in the city.

Winner of the Heuvelink award

In September 2020, Bartok Arnhem was awarded the prestigious Heuvelink Prize, the biennial Arnhem architecture prize for the best new building. According to the jury report, ten years ago Bartokplein was a lost corner of the city, but now it has grown into a hot spot in Arnhem.
