Drystack System: Fast Stacking System for Facades

Currently, a villa is being built in Zuidland using the GeoStylistix Waalformat. Nothing extraordinary, you might say, but the speed and method used are quite groundbreaking. All the stones are equipped with drill holes, allowing them to fit seamlessly and quickly into the Drystack system. This is a simple stacking system consisting of, among other things, reusable plastic connectors.

Sustainable 'Masonry'

Building with Drystack is safe, sustainable, and environmentally friendly. Reliable and thorough research shows that the system emits significantly less CO2. Compared to all alternatives, such as traditional masonry, Drystack is the most CO2-friendly option. The processing is simple, allowing the system to be used by a broader audience. There are no unworkable days due to rain or frost, and it aligns perfectly with the concept of adaptive building because this method is circular. The elements can be reused as a whole or separately in new projects. The facade stones can also be reused this way, making building with the Drystack system even more sustainable.

This method also comes with many practical advantages. One of the first things that stands out is how clean the entire construction site remains. The facades, scaffolding, materials, and ultimately the stackers work without mortar, and this is immediately visible. Compared to a standard construction site, this project looks spotless—no mortar splashes or residue anywhere. This benefits the cleanliness of the final result and also saves a lot of time. Time savings are quickly achieved because work can continue without delays. Stacking can proceed in all weather conditions. Moisture absorption or freezing temperatures no longer hinder progress. Furthermore, dilatations are not required, which not only eliminates the need for essential advice but also contributes to the aesthetics of the final result.

Unique Facade

Combined with the Drystack system, our GeoStylistix facade stones are even more sustainable. GeoStylistix is a unique facade stone with a mix of natural minerals that provide a beautiful color scheme and higher color fastness over a longer period than traditional stones. The facade stone is not only aesthetic but also highly dimensionally stable, strong, and low-maintenance. It is available in a flat top layer for a modern look or a profile version for a more rustic architectural style.
