MBI De Steenmeesters focuses on a sustainable future for the next generation. The NXT Bricks have been newly added to the range. These bricks are made of 85% recycled material and are produced with minimal energy consumption and CO2 absorption.

1. Circular Product

   We make NXT Bricks from ceramic roof tiles and bricks that we harvest from demolition projects. This is an important step towards a future without waste.

    

2. ‘Cold Fired’

   Traditional bricks are fired at temperatures between 1000 and 1200 degrees Celsius. NXT Bricks are 'cold fired,' which saves a lot of energy.

    

3. CO₂ Storage

   Because the raw materials contain CO2 storage, NXT Bricks remove CO2 from the air. Each brick stores approximately 10% CO2. This has a positive impact on the planet's carbon balance.
