Smart insulation system for GeoStylistix stone strips
The HOMZ-Pro insulation system allows you to install MBI's GeoStylistix stone strips easily and efficiently. This innovative system, available through our partner Bricks and Slips, has been developed to make the installation and processing of stone strips faster, lighter and more reliable.
Sleek and easy installation
The XPS insulation panels feature milled recesses. This ensures that the stone strips always lie sleek and flat against the façade, without the need for measuring or fitting. The result: a perfectly dimensionally stable façade finish that impresses in every project.
Two bonding methods
Depending on the situation, you can choose the method that best suits your project:
- Spray adhesive based on MS hybrid polymers: for quick and efficient installation.
- Traditional mortar adhesive: familiar and solid.
Fireproof and widely applicable
The XPS insulation panels are fireproof (B1 classified) and therefore suitable for high-rise buildings up to 26 metres. They are also available in various thicknesses and can be used on almost any surface, even below ground level. This creates continuous insulation without any unsightly transitions.
Design freedom in façade finishing
An unjointed finish with a thin 3 mm ribbon joint and no butt joints can be applied without structural expansion joints. This creates a sleek, modern look. In addition, variations in layer size, joint width and brick height are possible, giving each façade its own character.
Advantages of the HOMZ-Pro system
- More square metres can be transported on a lorry for a single project. Fewer transport movements and therefore less CO2 emissions.
- A project involving stone strips requires a less heavy foundation than a façade made of stacked solid bricks.
- With the HOMZ-Pro system in combination with polymer adhesive, it is also possible to use black (charcoal) strips.
- Suitable for high-rise buildings up to 26 metres.
- Fireproof: B1 classified.
