Staycation! Zo maak jij je tropische tuin!
Thuisblijven heeft een hele andere dimensie gekregen door onze directe omgeving zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Home entertaining was nog nooit zó belangrijk! Vergroot je leefruimte met een tuin in vakantiestemming en je hebt een tuin om voor thuis te blijven.
De ultieme staycation beleef je met je hele gezin met een plunge pool in je tuin in een tropische setting. We geven je alle inspiratie en een kant en klaar ontwerp om een tropische tuin te maken, jouw ‘ticket to the tropics’!
MOODBOARD VOOR EEN TROPISCHE TUIN
Voor deze tropische tuin is gekozen voor zonnige, warme kleuren en materialen. Voor de sierbestrating is een combinatie van een houtlook tegel gekozen in combinatie met GeoCeramica® ‘Terrazzo Grey’, met ‘kiezeltjes’ in warme kleurtonen. Complementair aan de tegels en beplanting, is in de styling gekozen voor warme bruin-, oranje- en groentinten.
Fraaie bladplanten zoals een bananenboom, Eucalyptus en Canna zijn niet helemaal winterhard in Nederland, maar mogen natuurlijk niet ontbreken in deze tropische tuin. Voor de overige beplanting kies je voor tropisch ogende, groenblijvende maar wél winterharde bladplanten, zoals Fatsia, muizenoor, Nandina, varens en bamboe. Zo is je tuin ’s winters ook aantrekkelijk! Deze groenblijvers zijn afgewisseld met vrolijke bloeiers zoals Zonnehoed en Crocosmia en makkelijke siergrassen.

Zo maak jij je tuin tropisch:
- Met tropische planten als Strelitzia, Phormium en Monstera in kleurrijke potten geef je de tuin een extra tropische touch. Overdrijven mag best!
- Kies voor de styling voor een mix van een houten tafel met moderne, metalen stoelen. Je maakt het af met kussens in tropische prints, succes verzekerd!
- Denk ook eens aan een buitendouche bij je plunge pool. Zo voorkom je in huis een waterballet richting badkamer.
TROPISCHE TUIN MAKEN
Tuinontwerp
Centraal in deze tuin ligt een plunge pool – een klein zwembad – waar de kinderen heerlijk in kunnen spelen en je zelf even kan afkoelen. Rond een zwembad horen natuurlijk een paar comfortabele ligstoelen om op te zonnen. Een warme houtlook vloer rondom de pool creëer je met de GeoCeramica® ‘Weathered Oak Charnwood’. Alle GeoCeramica® tegels zijn ook leverbaar als zwembadranden voor de perfecte afwerking van de tuin. De hoge stroefheidsklasse minimaliseert uitglijrisico op natte tegels.
Een borrel- en eetterras in de schaduw van een boom maakt deze tuin helemaal af. Voor dit terras kies je tegels met een verweerde look met kleurtonen als beige, oranje en zacht bruin. Dat combineert erg goed met de schutting en de beplanting.
De verhoogde borders zijn gemaakt van stapelblokken en afgewerkt met natuursteen strips. De natuursteen afwerking geeft je dat warme, luxe gevoel van een vakantie in warmere oorden. De schuttingen geeft structuur aan de tuin en biedt optimale privacy!
