Prefabricated with LED lighting

The casino's interactive façade with LED lighting can transform to display all kinds of patterns and colours. An impressive sight to behold. The entrance also feels very welcoming, where an illuminated path has been created. The entrance features precast concrete bands with integrated LED lighting. In consultation with the contractor De Enk Groen & Golf B.V., MBI made special recesses in the precast bands for the LED lighting. In addition, MBI supplied prefab steps made of washed-out basalt that were placed at the front of the building for accessibility. Reflective paving

During the construction of Holland Casino Venlo, sustainability was an important aspect. Therefore, efforts were made in many ways to make the building as sustainable as possible. For instance, a rainwater harvesting system was installed and concrete granulate was partly obtained from demolition work. When designing the outdoor area, sustainable paving solutions were also sought. The car park, for instance, is equipped with GeoColor Excellent concrete bricks. This has a natural top layer supported by sustainable and colour-supporting raw materials. The car park under the casino incorporates a special GeoReflex stone, our light-reflective paving. This contributes to road safety and, like the GeoColor, has a high-quality top layer.
