A Special Home: Modern Twist on a 1930s Design
This unique home combines the charm of the 1930s with a contemporary approach. The carefully composed roof and in-house design strike a harmonious balance between classic and modern, creating a timeless and stylish living environment.
Composite roof
This unusual house of our own design with compound roof is a modern twist on a 1930s house. The facade and overall look have been well thought out. The 3D effect in the façade and the roof construction give the house a special appearance. The roof provides extra space and, with the many windows, for lots of natural light in the house. Long lines is a recurring theme in this house. Not only in the windows, but also in the facade in the form of a long slender facing brick.
A modern, sustainable facade
For the façade of this house with compound roof, a long, slender facing brick was used in the unique colour ‘Antarctic Grey’. The GeoStylistix concrete brick is a unique facing brick with a mix of natural minerals that ensure a beautiful colour combination and colourfastness. The facing brick is not only aesthetic, but also exceptionally dimensionally stable, strong and low-maintenance. Because of these properties, the GeoStylistix facade remains beautiful for a long time. Moreover, the production process is as sustainable as possible with, among other things, wind energy and conditioning chambers where the concrete cures (i.e. it is not fired). In this modern twist on a 1930s house, the facing bricks are in some places 3D or vertical. This unique interplay of lines creates an interesting and modern look.
