Innovative façade system

Hyde Park has designed six apartment complexes within the Notting Hill block. This block consists of various types of luxury homes, from studios to more spacious homes. All homes are of high quality, thanks in part to an innovative façade system. MVSA Architects chose MBI as their partner for this project. MBI supplied long-format brick slips for two buildings, giving the façades a high-quality look.

High-quality and timeless brick slips

GeoStylistix brick slips are made from natural stone granulate and colourfast minerals. What makes this system special is that it is ideal for use in high-rise buildings. 'At MBI, the strips are first placed in a mould. By heating a layer of sand in the mould and then applying a foamed PIR layer, the strips are clamped in place,' says Michael den Breems, Senior Advisor at MBI. The stone strips are mechanically anchored to the façade on site. This results in a technical masterpiece with a modern, timeless look and a great deal of design freedom.
