The intriguing beauty of Rox: innovation in façade design
The natural roughness and distinctive appeal of Rox facing bricks are the result of a careful production process, in which each brick is broken in a unique way after curing. These characteristic fracture surfaces, combined with their impermeability to moisture and dirt, make Rox a durable and aesthetically appealing choice for façade cladding. Discover how MBI's innovative approach to facing brick design expands the possibilities for creative expression, and how this translates into striking projects such as the extension of the sports hall at the De Fontein & De Bosweide primary school complex in Ridderkerk.
Natural roughness and appeal of Rox
This facing brick is broken after production and weeks of curing. The result is an irregular fracture surface that looks different on every brick. Thanks to the special production process, Rox is impervious to rain and moisture and therefore highly resistant to dirt. And Rox remains beautiful thanks to the use of 100% pure raw materials.
A façade is perfect for use as a communication object by working with different colours and sizes of concrete bricks. In terms of dimensions, MBI offers special long formats up to large block formats. Whatever look you are looking for, our Steenmeesters are happy to take on the challenge for you!
The sports hall of the De Fontein & De Bosweide primary school complex in Ridderkerk has been expanded with Rox in the colours Anthracite, Norwegian Anthracite and Norwegian Grey. MBI can produce Rox in virtually any desired colour to order. We have many types of raw materials (natural granulates) at our disposal to determine the colour of the stone. This means that the possibilities are virtually unlimited.
