Dit weekend werd in Eigen Huis en Tuin onze GeoCeramica® Irish Highstone in het nieuwste langformaat gefeatured. Een stoere tegel die met haar robuustheid en levend karakter doet denken aan de rijzige Ierse gebergtes. De Irish Highstone is gekozen als mooi contrast op de anderszins strakke ‘Kubus tuin’.
Een strak tuinontwerp
Voor de Kubus tuin is gekozen om met rechthoekige vormen te werken. Strakke lijnen komen niet alleen terug in de bestrating, maar ook in de levende elementen. De heggen zijn strak gesnoeid met brede balken eromheen. Bovendien is dezelfde Irish Highstone tegel gebruikt voor zowel het eetgedeelte als de veranda. Hiermee is samenhang gecreëerd met als resultaat: een moderne tuin die rust uitstraalt. Hieronder is te zien hoe het ontwerp naar realiteit is vertaald.
Eenvoudige aanleg met GeoCeramica®
Om het strakke karakter van de tuin aan te houden, zijn de tegels aansluitend tegen elkaar gelegd. Door de langformaat tegels bovendien in de breedte te leggen, is de breedte benadrukt in een anderszins lange tuin. De tegels zijn direct op een afgetrild zandbed gelegd. Dit is een voordeel van GeoCeramica®; in de meeste gevallen is er geen speciale ondergrond vereist waardoor de aanleg relatief makkelijk en snel is.
