In Loenen heeft Eigen Huis en Tuin een tweede huiskamer gemaakt van Oscar en Ilona's tuin. Het stel wenste een sfeervolle relaxte tuin waar zij met het gezin samen kunnen komen. De tuin heeft een speels karakter gekregen met veel sfeer, warmte en leefruimte.

Een speels karakter
Om een ware gezinstuin te creëren, is een speels karakter van belang. Een grote glazen overkapping, geplaatst direct aan de woning, is niet enkel functioneel maar ook een eyecatcher. Het glas geeft een speels effect en zorgt voor voldoende lichtinval. Door de overkapping direct aan de woning te plaatsen, wordt het een verlengde van de huiskamer waar je ook bij minder weer van buiten kunt genieten.
Bestrating in halfsteensverband
Ook in de bestrating komt het speelse karakter terug, waarbij de GeoCeramica® tegels in halfsteensverband zijn gelegd. De ingebouwde afstandhouders zorgen ook bij een halfsteensverband voor een makkelijke en mooie verwerking. Bij verwerking zijn de rechthoekige tegels met de lange zijde parallel aan de woning gelegd, waardoor de tuin optisch langer lijkt. De laatste stap in de verwerking is het voegen met het juiste voegmiddel. In dit geval is gekozen voor AquaColor Joints in een lichtgrijze kleur, uiterst geschikt voor GeoCeramica® en sluit mooi aan bij de kleur tegel. Het voegmiddel spoelt bovendien niet uit en is onkruidarm, ideaal voor de onderhoudsvriendelijke gezinstuin dus. Om te bepalen welke voeg het beste past bij jouw type sierbestrating en ondergrond, raadpleeg ons voegadvies.
Tuinverlichting voor een warme sfeer
Om een warme look en feel te verwezenlijken, is een vlakkenkast geplaatst tegen het schuurtje welke midden in de tuin staat. De kast dient als opslag voor houtblokken en scheidt de tuin op een sfeervolle manier in twee. Tegen de vlakkenkast zijn grondspots in de GeoCeramica® tegels verwerkt, wat in de avond zorgt voor een mooi en speels lichteffect. In de tegels boren hoeft niet; GeoCeramica® In-lite ready wordt voorzien van uitsparing voor de grondspots. Ook in de avond kan er dus volop genoten worden van de knusse huiskamer tuin.
