Nispen is een klein dorp binnen de gemeente Roosendaal, in de provincie Noord-Brabant. Nispen kenmerkt zich door de sterke sociale samenhang en de geestdrift om zelf zaken aan te pakken. Het is van oudsher gelegen aan transportroutes. Later gelegen langs toeristische routes. Het dorpshart speelt dan ook een belangrijke rol in de sociale binding van inwoners en bezoekers.
Cultuurhistorisch erfgoed
De herinrichting en herbestrating van het dorpshart is een van de projecten van Heerlijckheijd Nispen. Sinds 22 oktober 1991 bestaat de Heemkundekring de Heerlijckheijd Nispen. De vereniging houdt zich bezig met het Nispens erfgoed. Door middel van allerlei activiteiten wordt aandacht besteedt aan het verleden van Nispen en de omgeving waarbij ook behoud van het nog aanwezige cultuurhistorisch erfgoed zoals gebouwen, landschappen centraal staat. Het Kerkplein maar ook de andere projecten liggen er fantastisch bij dankzij de hulp van heel veel Nispenaren.
Keuze voor GeoRetron
De natuurlijke kleurstelling van GeoRetron past perfect in het sfeerbeeld van binnenstedelijke gebieden en woonwijken met een jaren ’20 en ’30 karakter. De rustieke kleur van de stenen geeft een nieuw aangelegde straat direct die klassieke, warme sfeer mee. Wij zijn er trots op dat er voor onze stenen gekozen is in dit authentieke dorpshart.

Hierdoor lijkt het alsof deze straat al decennia lang tot de historie van Nispen behoort. Een bewijs dat MBI-stenen voor een breed toepassingsgebied inzetbaar zijn, ook als oplossing voor eeuwenlange traditie van gebakken straatstenen!
