Nieuwe parkeerplaats Drievliet
Familiepark Drievliet is een klein pretpark in Rijswijk vlakbij Den Haag en heeft een nieuwe parkeerplaats met waterpasserende bestrating. Vanaf zomer 2019 maken automobilisten gebruik van een grote parkeerplaats aan de andere kant van een nieuwe verbindingsweg, de Rotterdamsebaan. Deze baan is een 120 meter lange loopbrug die de bezoekers bij de ingang van het park brengt.
Met de komst van de Rotterdamsebaan kan het familiepark de huidige parkeerplaats vervangen voor een grote hal met overdekte attracties inclusief overdekte achtbaan. Dit willen ze al jaren, en hoe mooi dat er nu een concreet project is ontstaan door gemeente Den Haag.
Bewuste keuzes
Naast dat het gunstig is voor het familiepark, is er ook nagedacht over de buiten-leefomgeving en het klimaatadaptief inrichten ervan. Een stukje verder van de parkeerplaats is een waterberging gemaakt om hemelwater op te vangen. Hierdoor is ook de keuze ontstaan voor het gebruik van waterpasserende bestrating.
Duurzame bestratingsoplossingen
Gemeente Den Haag heeft gekozen voor een combinatie van HerbaLinea en NCB klinkers waarbij functionaliteit en esthetiek samenkomen. HerbaLinea is een bestratingsoplossing die verkrijgbaar is in twee varianten; H20 en vlak. HerbaLinea H20 is een betonstraatsteen met openingen aan één zijde. Het open profiel heeft maar liefst 22% open ruimte voor waterinfiltratie en grasgroei. HerbaLinea Vlak is een gesloten uitvoering van de steen. Samen vormen ze een stijlvolle en klimaatadaptieve oplossing voor bijvoorbeeld deze parkeerplaats in Den Haag.
Ook NCB klinkers behoren tot onze waterpasserende bestrating en geeft 42% (!) open ruimte voor waterinfiltratie en grasgroei. Er is gespeeld met beide producten en de diverse varianten daarvan. Uiteindelijk heeft parkeerplaats Drievliet er 1000 parkeerplaatsen bij!
Met open bestrating weerspiegelt het perfect de balans tussen grijs (functionaliteit) en groen van de omgeving. Daarnaast zijn nagenoeg beide soorten steen in elke kleur uit te voeren.
