Bijzonder project
MBI heeft een heel bijzonder project in Badhoevedorp: sinds 2019 staat deze 747 van Corendon boven een plein van maar liefst 1.150 m² GeoCeramica® Copper Steel in formaat 80x80x6 bij het Corendon Village Hotel. Niet alleen het grootformaat maar ook de stoere, industriële look van deze tegel valt op. Door de typische roestkleur is iedere tegel uniek en komt dus perfect tot zijn recht binnen dit unieke project.
In mei 2018 is het project van gestart gegaan. Jos Vriend tuinen realiseert voor Corendon Village een ontwerp inclusief inrichting van de beplanting. Een aantal maanden is hij samen met zijn broers druk bezig geweest met de inrichting van het gehele buitenterrein.
Perfect voor de openbare ruimte
Met dit bijzondere project verleggen we weer de grenzen, want hier blijkt weer: GeoCeramica® sierbestrating is met haar veelzijdigheid uiterst geschikt voor eindeloze toepassingen. Ook in de openbare ruimte zien we GeoCeramica® steeds vaker worden toegepast. Hiervoor hebben we speciaal CeoCeramica® Heavy Duty uitvoering in 8 cm dik ontwikkeld.
Voor Boeing 747 als stilstaand voertuig biedt voor dit project de uitvoering in 6 cm dik voldoende stevigheid. Daarnaast is de keramische toplaag extreem hard en hierdoor kras-, slijt- en kleurvast en bestand tegen allerlei voorkomende (vloei)stoffen.
