Design principles

In Heerlen, South Limburg, there is a beautiful villa with a facing brick in a unique colour: Limestone Yellow. A colour with a story. For this special project was customisation required. When residents Rob and Ria Houben were well prepared with an idea of the layout at ARCHITECKTENZAAK, two starting points were important: the client wanted to use a long linear, dimensionally stable facing brick for the large facade surfaces and the architect wanted the material to have a connection with the location. Together with Mark Feron, director/owner and architect of ARCHITECTENZAAK, they came to a beautiful realisation that perfectly meets these conditions.
