These bricks were originally created uniquely for the Floriade in Almere. And this came from a unique issue. There had to be a beautiful boulevard with a practical robust path, but with that also had to think about the future. This is how the 'growing green cities' concept came into being, paying attention to sustainable, green and circular development. The tiles are 12cm thick and have plenty of spacing so there is enough room for greenery. In this way it is more climate robust than traditional bricks.
